Can I have my book signed?
Of course, that's one of advantages about buying direct. Oh, and I should mention that goes for any of the books from the "add-ons". The plan is for us to travel to the fulfillment house (it's in Travers City Michigan), sign boxes and boxes of books, and then have the fulfillment partner ship them out.
A corollary to this question might be: Can I have them dedicated? Well, unfortunately not this time around. The previous Kickstarter did offer that capability and it made shipping a nightmare. When the books are "signed only" they are all essentially the same and so any book can go in any package. When they are dedicated, then you have to find the "particular" book and put it in an exact envelope. This is MUCH harder to do and beyond the scope of the fulfillment house.
Now, if you really, really, want to have you book dedicated. You'll be able to do so, but you can't do it as part of the Kickstarter. Basically, once we have books in hand, the books will be available for sale on the store page of my website (www.riyria.com). You'll be able to go there, buy a book and have it signed and dedicated. That will be processed by hand, by us, so you can have it done anyway you wish, but for the "mass mailing" as part of the Kickstarter, all the books will be the same.

Will the audiobook be available December 5th or will it be June 5th?
The audiobook's release is December 5th. We are actually going to be recoding the book the week of October 15th. And, yes, Tim Gerard Reynolds will be the narrator for it.

Why can't I get an audiobook, print edition, and ebook?
You can! Just pick the "format" of the print edition you want:
- PAPER CHASE - for trade paperback
- HARD CORE - for regular hardcover
- UNCOMMON VALOR - limited edition hardcover
- RARE BREED - rare edition hardcover
And then add $10 to your pledge (to cover the purchase of the audio book). The ebook is already included (all physical copies have free ebooks). When the Kickstarter is over, you'll be able to "distribute" that extra $10 to an audiobook reward. More information on how to use "Add-ons" can be found in the Additional Item section of the project.

If I purchase add-on items, don't I get overcharged for shipping?
Yes, and no. The final shipping cost has to take into consideration how many books are in your pledge level (0, 1, or 2), and how many add-ons you desire (an unknown number). We initially calculate postage as if each item were shipped separately, but we will combine all the items in a single box and then calculate the actual postage required. Any excess will be refunded to you. For more information on add-ons (including a rather long discussion on shipping costs) see the Add-on Primer, you can find it here:

I am trying to download the eBook and am having issues accessing the file!
If you are having problems with the ebook you can point them to this link which should help: https://dl.bookfunnel.com/nb1zu7wdwo
If you are having problems with the audio book and in the US you can point them to this link: http://www.michaelsullivan-author.com/Enterprise-Giveaway-Redemption-Guide.pdf
If you are having problems with the audio book and outside the US, we need to know what country you are in and what Audible site they are trying to use. Based on that information we can help them to the next step.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
Why can’t I log into my account?
Request a login link to your survey by entering your email here:
BackerKit will send you an automated email with an invite link to whatever email you pledged with.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
Can I upgrade or get multiple copies of my pledge?
This depends on the project creator’s decision. If you are unable to see the ‘Want to switch your pledge level?’ after clicking on your pledge amount under “Pledge Level” in your survey, then the project creator would prefer people not to switch pledge levels.
